| Wow! It's been so long since I've posted.
It's amazing what life can just throw at you and you have no choice other than to accept it. Life is a constant learning process and you just never know what is going to happen, but you just have to keep on moving. I am so blessed that I have so many great friends to help support me and that keep me cheery!
This time next week I will be in Cuba with some girls from school! I can't wait, since I really need a break from reality. It feels like we've been talking about this trip forever, and now it's only a few days away! Hopefully I will survive this mad week of papers and exams...
Enough procrastination- Back to work! Or should I say I have to start working!

| I am so excited for this weekend. Can't wait to see Josh...Have been counting down the days since we parted! Other than the downer of having to work tonight and tomorrow, it's going to be great.
Life is going so well. My marks from last semester were much better than I thought I was going to do...Just hope to keep them up this semester and not let last semester get to my head!
I love going into the stores and seeing V-Day things on display. It just makes me think of everyone I love and who love me back. But it is sad that we have to have a day set a side to show people how much we really love them, everyday should be V-Day!
Pen Pal Day was today. Even though I don't have a pen pal, because I'm a co-ordinator, I was a fill in. Jordan, an 8yr old boy I was paired with, was super cute. He had a mohawk! It was soooo funny, but cute! Everyone kept saying, Look at that kid's hair! He was the sweetest boy ever. Didn't stop hugging me (Josh, you might wanna go and beat him up...haha) and when it was snack time, he got me a napkin, juice and some crackers and cheese- a real lady's man! :) Kids are the greatest. I was not looking forward to having to wake up at 7 this morning to meet but when I saw how happy the kids were to see us, it made me smile and knew that it was totally worth getting up earlier than usual.

| Today at work this really nice youg man came in. He wanted to buy a promise/mini engagement ring for his gf. He told me what he wanted and how much he was willing to pay...and then he told me why he was really buying it. It turns out that he had already given one to his gf except he accidently flushed it down the toilet!! So he told me, it has to be bigger and better than the last one! HE GOT THAT RIGHT!! He was super nice and picked out the ring that I had suggested to him...It was sooo nice!! Unfortunately I didn't get the sale, because I'm not allowed to sell diamonds so the girl who helped me got it  We don't work on comission but they always check your sales!!
I'm actually being good this weekend and working on my last paper early!! It's not due til Monday but I started it yesterday and not Sunday afternoon! I deserve a gold star!
My parents returned from the Bahamas. Said they had an awesome time and was bummed to come back to Ottawa to find snow...Peterborough doesn't have any...We got rain today...We hardly get any snow! It always misses us, but I'm not complaining!
Back to work, wish I could be at home with everyone!! 20 more days!! | | |
| I can't believe tomorrow is Dec. 1!! Time to get out the advent calendar!! Christmas is just around the corner!!! Where does time go?? But I'm excited that I get to come home soon!!!
School is starting to wind down..a little bit...Only one more paper to go!! I get so worried though when writing papers. It's so hard to put every single word into your own words...plagerism is just so easy!! So hopefully I did a good enough job by putting everything in my own words, but it's just so easy sometimes!! Dont' you find it frustarating!!
I started back at the gym today. Have been really really bad this month. Haven't had much time to go! It makes me feel so good. I release so much stress by running and come out a new person afterwards. It's weird how exercise does that to you.
Have started my Christmas shopping. I'm so stuck on ideas for people. Bought my sister a really nice silver ring today from work...I want to keep it so it's a good thing it doesn't fit my fingers!! :) Our house is so cute. The girls decorated it all for Christmas. I wish I could've helped, but I didn't have enough time. I'm just so excited for Christmas!! Did I say that yet?!
Well I think I'm going to head to bed. I'm waiting for Josh to call, but he hasn't yet...I don't like it when I can't talk to him because it makes me worried...Please pick up your cell phone!! :)

p.s. today I found out that the house across the street for me is a school for ex-convicts who aren't allowed to go into the public schools..Makes me feel sooo safe!! Why did they have to tell me!? | | |
| Where does time go?? I feel like I've been up forever today, yet I've completed nothing and it's already 7:45!! Life has to slow down, or it'll zoom right by us!!
Today I was walking to the bus stop by myself and this man passed me, but while he passed me he said 'hey *itch, do you have any spare change?'...Who on earth does he think he is?! No. 1, you do not say that to someone when you are asking for money and No. 2. It's soo rude!! I just kind of laughed it off though, what am I suppose to do?? I don't think he knew any better..he looked like he was high on something! But as if! haha.
I'm missing home like crazy, even though I was there only a week ago. There really is no place like home. My parents are going to the Bahamas on Saturday. Lucky ducks. I wish I could go, but no, school is the ruler of my life! School...I can't wait to be done...I'm having so many mixed feelings of what I want to do...like what courses I want to take in order to teach, if I want to teach, etc...Life is just way too stressful. So many decisions that will affect the rest of my life....I really just want to get married and have kids...well not right away..haha. None of this school crap...I can't wait for the next three yrs to pass...maybe time really should fly!
